The Big Bang Theory by Diviine Modestee

Do you ever wonder if you are getting the best bang for your buck?  If you are spending your hard-earned cash as wisely as you could?  In today's slower economy we are all keeping a more conscious eye on our pennies.  So where does the fashion-forward, penny-wise woman shop for a great dress?  Sweet Innocence by Diviine Modestee, of course!  Take a look at this dress, the Brecken: 

Brecken in Stone

 The Brecken is available in Stone (shown above) and Moonlight Blue and is a great take on the classic shirt-dress.  It has a very tailored look with it's fitted, pleated waist and sleeves.  It's made from stretch cotton/satin which gives it a very classy look, fit and feel.  We've added length, tailoring details and over-all style making this dress a fantastic fashion choice.  Our suggested MSRP is $95, but we have it available on our website for $78. 

Now look at this dress (sounds like an Old Spice commercial!):  Khaki Poplin Shirt Dress (go ahead...click the link!) available through Bluefly, an online discount retailer.  Wow!  Such a difference!  You can immediately see that this dress...offered for $135 by the way...offers so much less than the Brecken for much more.  There is no added tailoring on the sleeves or waist, it's made of cotton/poplin, a lower quality fabric than the Brecken and while it's a cute dress with the little belt and colors offered, it's very short and basically just looks like a shirt.  There really is no comparison to the style, quality and cost of the Brecken.  If you want the biggest bang for your buck you want the Brecken.

Plus...you need the Brecken in order to wear those totally awesome shoes the model is wearing.  I mean...look at the SHOES!  They're HOT!

Purple. The Hottest Color for Fall.

Purple is one of my favorite colors and I’m thrilled to see it in style this fall. I’m also excited because purple looks fabulous when paired with grey, black, white, or even brown. In fact, the combination of Grey and Plum Purple is hot this season. Purple is an extremely versatile color, but if you happen to feel it's not the perfect shade for your skintone, well, isn't that what scarves, shoes and a great purse are for? Realize though, that I'm not talking about lavender. The hottest, trendiest shades of purple to wear this season are the dark "jewel" tone purples and plums. Gossip Girl's costume designer said "the deep-purple plum color is really, really strong for fall." If Hollywood says it, it must be true, right? Forget about the fact that they've been trying to stick us with Gladiator Boots...

Wear a deep plum purple longsleeve shirt like this one below and throw a scarf around your neck in a color more flattering to you:

Ruching has such a flattering effect on just about any body type, and this dress really helps to hide and cover that faux-fetus I carry around on my midsection. I'd be thrilled to not have to need ruching, but as it is I am quite ecstatic that Diviine ModesTee has designed such a flattering, lovely dress for me to hide my belly flab in.

Diviine Dresses!

Recently I was able to assist the designer, the photographer and the models in our dress photo shoot. I have to say I had a blast! I really enjoy the artistic side of this job and although I was hired and actually do a different job in the company, I have always been artistic so it was really very fun to see this end of the business. The two models, Tori and Lauren, were amazing! Beautiful, natural, and so easy to work with. I enjoyed every minute I spent with them. They really made the dresses shine!
